David Lovett

I love being outside during the change of each season. I get to see the flowers bloom in the spring. I get to feel the warmth of the summer. I get to experience the leaves changing in the fall, and I get to see winter‘s first snow. You can’t get that sitting behind a desk. I loved getting my hands dirty and learning constantly.

History

I worked in the family business from 2003 to 2006. I learned so much in those years and still do today. In 2006, I bought part of the company. From 2006 to 2016 I owned and operated a local gutter company doing about 500 homes per year. I sold that business in 2016 to begin Prestige Custom Gutters. And in 2021, I renamed the company in honor of my family to Lovett Gutters.

Passion

I love interacting with people. I can’t imagine doing anything else. I love helping customers solve their rainwater issues, and I love helping customers change the look of their homes. I love giving advice as to what looks good on each home, and I love to see the look on each customer’s face when I finish their project.

Qualifications

I’ve been in the gutter and downspout industry since 2003. I’ve worked on and solved water issues for thousands of customers and have worked with about every different gutter size and profile possible. I’ve worked with both residential homeowners and commercial contractors. I’m constantly learning and love new challenges.

What keeps me going? My wife and children. I want to give them the best life possible. I want to leave my children a thriving business. Also, there’s a lack of skilled Gutter people in the industry and I want to change that. I feel strongly about leading by example. I want to do and make unique things with gutter metal that no one can do.

From my family to yours, we thank you. I have an amazingly beautiful wife and two beautiful daughters. They are my world; they are my reason for living. We have a wonderful extended family too. First and foremost it is my family, friends, and the business, but we love to travel and explore new and old places around Tennessee.
